It's fun to work here
Make no mistake - we're a serious financial institution. But that doesn't
mean we take ourselves too seriously.
We like to have fun around here. No matter where you work in the Vancity Group,
you're likely to hear laughter in the halls. Mock 'Survivor'
challenges on your floor. Diwali, Christmas and Chinese New Year celebrations
in your branch. Ridiculous costumes on Halloween. It's no mistake that
we won the coveted Rock, Paper, Scissors Large Organization 2005 Humour in the Workplace Award.
We also host a variety of fun employee events every year, including an employee
recognition night, service awards celebrations, departmental events and more.
Vancity also sponsors a variety of employee sports teams that compete in local
leagues, including softball, dragonboat and kayak teams.
