Our values
Working at Vancity means working for an forward-thinking organization that
is committed to living our values in how we do business.
So what does it mean to “live our values in how we do business”?
It means that members are more than just customers – they're neighbours,
co-owners of Vancity and people just like you and me.
It means your job will be to protect members' assets and give them the
best return on their investments, because it's your credit union too.
It means that when Vancity earns a profit, we all profit –
through member dividends, profit sharing and investments in the communities
where we live and work.
Statement of Values and Commitments
In 2000 we created a Statement
of Values and Commitments to guide our business and the role we play in
the communities we serve now and in the future.

innovation and responsibility every day.

and respect to do what is honest, fair and trustworthy.
- Innovation means that we anticipate and respond to challenges
